Overview

The Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management provides an opportunity to study, at professional level, those factors contributing to the complexity of decision making in Australian and international employment relations.

Course aims

The Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is designed to meet the career needs of professionals with some experience in an area related to employment relations.

Articulation

This course is part of an articulated program comprising the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (C11198), the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and the Master of Business in Human Resource Management (C04227).

Additional admission requirements

Applicants require one of the following:

  • a cognate degree from a UTS-recognised university or other tertiary education institution
  • a degree from a UTS-recognised university or other tertiary education institution and a minimum of two years' relevant work experience, or
  • satisfactory completion of a relevant Graduate Certificate.

Additional recognition of prior learning

Students may be granted a maximum of five subject exemptions, of which two core subjects may be approved from prior undergraduate study.

Course duration and attendance

The Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management may be completed in two years of part-time study, or one year of full-time study.
