Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Event Management is designed to introduce students to the events field and develop their skills and knowledge relating to the management of various event forms.

Subjects in the program focus on the core skills and knowledge associated with event creation, operations and marketing.

Course aims

The Graduate Certificate in Event Management introduces key theoretical concepts and issues impacting upon the management of events.

Additional admission requirements

Applicants require one of the following:

• a degree from a UTS-recognised university or other tertiary education institution, or
• extensive relevant work experience and evidence of a general capacity to undertake tertiary education.

Course duration and attendance

The Graduate Certificate in Event Management is a one-year, part-time course.

The Event Management program is offered at Kuring-gai campus. Some subjects may be offered in intensive mode.

Course structure

The Graduate Certificate in Event Management comprises 24 credit points of study, made up of four compulsory subjects.
