MAJ08975 Events
The Events major prepares students by developing a solid understanding of the procedures required for the design, development, promotion and implementation of a range of events, from entertainment spectacles through to industry forums. Crucially, the program also alerts students to the political, economic, and social contexts in which events take place. Specialist subjects develop the knowledge and professional skills necessary to embark on a career in the dynamic and innovative events industry.
Students undertaking the Events major with the following major need to substitute an alternative subject in place of 21664 Managing Risk and Opportunity:
- MAJ08980 Digital Creative Enterprise may substitute either 21513 Business Ethics and Sustainability or 21214 Business and Social Impact in the MAJ08975 Events major.
