Handbook description

This subject enables students considering a nursing career caring for families with well children 0–5 years of age to undertake guided experience in the clinical specialty of child and family health nursing. The subject content explores the experiences of childrearing families in contemporary Australian society and uses a health promotion perspective to discuss topics of parenting, infant/child care and social and emotional wellbeing in infancy and early childhood.
