99636 Essentials of Pathophysiology

This subject aims to provide an overview of the essential elements of the disease process as occurring in some common disorders of each of the major body systems. This information is provided in the context of how the disorder affects healthy structure and function, and so reinforces basic anatomy and physiology previously studied. Topics include immunology, cancer, endocrine, gastrointestinal, respiratory cardiovascular, kidney and body fluid, nervous, musculoskeletal and reproductive disorders.
