Students are required to prepare, undertake and write a dissertation on a topic related to International Studies. Students work in conjunction with their Major Coordinator. They first undertake and write a proposal or methodology module in preparation for the dissertation that critically analyses an issue associated with their language and culture specialisation.
Students then undertake research based on their proposal and write this into a dissertation. The normal length of the dissertation is 15,000 words.
