Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Media Arts and Production is part of an articulated program in Media Arts and Production which includes film, video, multimedia, sound, radio, performance and installation, and the interplay among these media forms.
Course aims
Students completing this course have core skills in either film and video, new media or sound production. The selection of relevant subjects allows students to specialise in specific areas; a specialisation that can be continued through the Graduate Diploma or Master's.
Career options
Career options include film and video direction and/or production, multimedia designer or producer, radio production, sound design and sound production.
Admission requirements
Academic qualifications considered for admission include a bachelor's degree, master's degree, graduate diploma or graduate certificate in the same field of study.
Course duration and attendance
The Graduate Certificate in Media Arts and Production is offered on a one-year, part-time basis.
Course structure
The Graduate Certificate in Media Arts and Production totals 24 credit points of study, consisting of three 8-credit-point subjects. Students undertake between 8 and 16 credit points per semester.
