The subject explores the legal practitioner's role in property transactions, including domestic and commercial conveyancing transactions, commercial and residential leases, mortgages, finance and securities.

Assessment: On-campus: practice file (30 per cent), seminar presentation (10 per cent), quizzes (10 per cent), final examination (50 per cent); Distance: practice file (30 per cent), quizzes (20 per cent), final examination (50 per cent).
