The e-Business sub-major provides knowledge, tools and methodologies for understanding and evaluation of emerging technologies, content, information flows, plus new products and services within computer-mediated environments. The sub-major emphasises analysis and incorporation of e-business technologies and issues from a business and marketing perspective, with electives available to study e-business knowledge from engineering, information technology and legal fields. Skills gained in the sub-major enables students to complement their chosen majors with contemporary and emerging knowledge for an emerging computer-mediated driven knowledge-based local and global economy.
