Undergraduate

In this subject, students produce a design dissertation (worth 70 per cent) and a design exegesis (worth 30 per cent) as a response to their preparatory Architectural Research subject proposal. The aims of this subject are: to develop to the fullest students' ability to carry out a major design project from initiation to resolution; to encourage students to actively examine the relationship between architectural design and architectural theory; and to facilitate student exploration of architectural design as an significant sociocultural phenomena.
