Description
This is a core subject usually taken in Year 3 of the Bachelor of Property Economics. It is important to develop an understanding of the range of pooled property investments and the markets in which they are traded, coupled with the legal framework. The subject covers local and overseas pooled property investments and involves the main methods used to analyse these and the basis for comparing investments within the sector. Concepts covered in lectures are reinforced with workshop questions, case studies and assignments.

Teaching and learning strategies
Interactive lecture with industry based workshops - 3 hours per week
Face-to-face classes will incorporate a range of teaching and learning strategies including short presentations, videos, discussion of corporate issues and events. These will be complemented by independent student reading and guest lectures.
