Students enrolled in the Master of Orthoptics (C04299) can apply to transfer into this exit-only course after completing 48 credit points of specified study and gain a graduate diploma qualification.
Course intended learning outcomes
1.1 | Reflect on knowledge, attitudes and skills acquired for the evaluation and integration of emerging evidence into health practice. |
1.2 | Analyse and synthesise knowledge of health and vision sciences concepts and theory, and apply skills of inquiry to support decision-making. |
2.1 | Demonstrate ethical behaviour and knowledge in the principles of evidence-based practice in health for the benefit of the wider community. |
2.2 | Demonstrate ethical, compassionate and respectful approaches to the practice of vision science. |
2.3 | Effectively and accurately communicate concepts in vision science, while acknowledging and adapting communication to address cultural and linguistic diversity. |
