The course provides the ideal foundation for students who plan to pursue a challenging career in applied research in business and related professions, or who plan to undertake doctoral research studies in accounting.
The course provides an opportunity to undertake an honours degree in accounting tailored to the needs of students who have completed the Bachelor of Accounting program at UTS. In second session, students undertake a thesis subject focusing on the academic needs of students enrolled in the program. This involves students producing a professionally oriented thesis where the objective is to undertake an original piece of research with an applied, professionally relevant focus.
