MAJ09402 Extended Economics
Businesses operate within the economy and many of the prospects and problems faced by a business are influenced or determined by the economy. Consequently, many business leaders emphasise the need for business managers to understand the economy and its impact on business. The Extended Economics major provides students with the professional skills, knowledge and understanding that enhance their capabilities in each of the professional areas within business.
Students intending to apply for the honours program in economics should enrol in either 23592 Game Theory, 23565 Mathematics for Economics and Business and/or 23572 Applied Microeconometrics as optional subjects.
