The multi-billion dollar sport industry has experienced significant growth in professionalism, revenue generation and number of people in all levels of management, in both the professional and community sport sectors. UTS is uniquely placed with expertise and networks across multiple codes of sport as well as international and national sports bodies. Through applied knowledge and professional internships, the sport business major allows students to gain a thorough understanding of Australian and international sports industries, the role sport plays in culture and society, and the interrelationships between sports bodies and key stakeholders.
