Description

UTS: Law offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of mooting competitions, both within Australia and overseas. Students enrol in this subject in cases where participation in a mooting team is counted as credit towards their degree. UTS: Law calls for expressions of interest from students to participate in a variety of moot competitions.

Subject learning objectives (SLOs)

Upon successful completion of this subject students should be able to:

1. To develop an understanding of the relevant fields of law
2. To develop the ability to research and critically analyse legal principles from a variety of sources of law
2. To develop the ability to research and critically analyse legal principles from a variety of sources of law
3. To develop the ability to clearly and succinctly develop legal arguments in written submissions cooperatively with others.
4. To develop advanced advocacy skills.
