Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Executive Business Administration (Global) is fundamental to understanding global business problems. It is experientially based to ensure concepts and applications of concepts are understood.
The course combines advanced technical and interpersonal skills alongside problem-based learning, with examples drawn directly from industry. Students are expected to work independently and in teams to achieve professional grade results for industry clients.
Course aims
The aim of the course is to develop business knowledge and concepts to enable students to operate effectively in different professions, industries and societies, both locally and globally.
General management skills are developed to provide a knowledge base in the areas of leadership, critical thinking, business planning, creative and analytical skills, organisational and group dynamics, and effective communication.
Course intended learning outcomes

Career options
Career options include management-level positions in industry or government.
Admission requirements
Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.
Applicants are expected to have an MBA or EMBA in addition to five years' relevant work experience. Applicants may be required to attend an interview as part of the admission process.
The English proficiency requirement for local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64; or CAE: 176-184.
Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of a place.
Credit recognition
Students in this course are not granted exemption for any prior studies.
Course duration and attendance
The course can be completed in one year, on a part-time basis only.
Course structure
The course comprises 24 credit points of study made up of two subjects.
