Handbook description

This subject builds on prior knowledge of cloud computing and aims to provide students with practical and relevant knowledge to develop enterprise applications using currently available cloud platforms. It enables students to appreciate and understand the differences between the various cloud platforms and make decisions on appropriate platform usage depending on their requirements or capabilities. It lays out the lifecycle for Cloud-based enterprise application development using existing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers such as Amazon Web Services and Platform as a Service (PaaS) providers such as Google App Engine. It methodologically empowers students with the relevant skills needed to develop, deploy and monitor enterprise application service delivery by leveraging the cloud platforms.
