Handbook description

This subject provides students with an opportunity to participate in a group project, developing a simple wireless application. A member of academic staff supervises each group project.

Subject objectives/outcomes

Mobile Computing Projects provide an opportunity for you to

  1. Develop a Mobile Application Product
  2. Demonstrate the working of the product.
  3. Produce documentation for the project.
  4. Learn how to coordinate, cooperate, and make contributions to the final product.
  5. Share the load and the responsibility in a teamwork environment and project management.
  6. Apply techniques in Software Engineering Theory in practice.

Contribution to course aims and graduate attributes

This subject will provide practical insight in developing a software product for small wireless devices. It provides insight in the different stages of software development as well as the operation of a software development team.
