Handbook description
Engineers Australia requires that all students graduating from accredited professional engineering courses have a minimum of 12 weeks (or equivalent) of professional practice. This subject assesses students' claims to meeting this requirement. It involves the writing of a report demonstrating learning outcomes and reflecting on experience as well as a seminar presentation to share experiences with other students and learn from them. The assessment tasks and the subject are assessed as pass/fail.

Students will reflect on their experience of professional practice with regard to:

They will also listen to the experiences and reflections of other students within their cohort.

Student will write a report and present a seminar on their professional practice and learning outcomes

Minimum requirements
In order to pass the subject, you must:
- submit a professional practice report as specified in this document and that is of a satisfactory standard; AND
- attend and participate in one group seminar presentation session as specified in this document. Your presentation must be of a satisfactory standard.
