99641 Point Location and Acupuncture Anatomy
6cp; 2-3 hpwThis workshop-based subject deals with the location, depth, action, special precautions and contra-indications of the major acupuncture points used in clinical practice. This module of point location complements the knowledge of point location provided in Chinese Medicine Foundations 1. The module in anatomy provides a basis for the accurate location of points. It closely examines acupuncture point substructures and provides a basis for understanding precautions associated with acupuncture and its safe practice.
