This subject allows students to build upon the prerequisite subject, which provided a foundation level of knowledge, skills and professional attributes in a selected clinical nursing specialty. By undertaking approved clinical learning activities, this subject allows students to incorporate more advanced competencies in the assessment, planning and management of specific patient/client groups. Taught in the clinical setting by expert clinicians, students are able to explicitly link theory and practice.
