This subject aims to expand students' awareness and understanding of the recovery room nursing role. It also develops their knowledge of the physiological and psychosocial needs of the surgical patient in the immediate postoperative period, and the legal obligations of the nurse in the recovery room.

2009 contribution for post-2008 Commonwealth-supported students: $520.25
