Addressing the vast array of environmental challenges faced as a result of human impacts on the natural world is a daunting task. Such a task requires a rigorous, scientific understanding of how ecosystems work. This subject is a senior-level undergraduate subject that provides students with the most up-to-date information concerning the functioning of healthy ecosystems and of how ecosystems are altered through human activities.
