91108 Urban Ecology Project

This final year subject in the Bachelor of Science (Urban Ecology major) is designed to enhance scientific and professional skills by developing students' ability to carry out a team-based, workplace project with industry partners outside UTS. The student team is required to assist in formulating the scope of the research or development project, plan the necessary research work within an appropriate time scale, organise and monitor team progress by establishing effective channels of communication, carry out the work productively and cooperatively as mutually agreed, analyse appropriately and critically the data or information obtained, reach conclusions relating to the data or information obtained on the project and present the findings of the project in a formal written report.
