In this subject students investigate daylight, artificial light, vision and perception. Students learn how interior spaces can be defined by light and so better satisfy human needs for beauty, comfort and security. Through a series of lectures, tutorial exercises and research projects, students gain an understanding of the fundamental elements and requirements necessary for using light as a determinant of interior quality.
