6cpIn this subject, students develop an understanding of the processes and attitudes that are common to all forms of designing. They also develop an understanding of what is distinctive about designing and design research by comparing design to other activities, disciplines and professions. As a result, students learn a range of strategies for working in teams, defining design problems, researching design contexts, generating creative responses, evaluating proposals from the perspective of the needs of those affected by the designated outcome, and visualising the arguments for proposals.
