In this subject, students develop a knowledge of business contractual obligations and their application to specific transactions. Other topics include sale of goods, consumer protection, product liability, trade practices (s 52 of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cwlth)), legal and business entities, company insolvency, agency, bailment, product safety, partnerships, agency, insurance, credit, negotiable instruments and bankruptcy.
