Topics covered include the major consumer legislation in Australia, including the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cwlth), Fair Trading Act 1987 (NSW), Contracts Review Act 1980 (NSW) and Door to Door Sales Act 1967 (NSW); product liability in Australia; regulation of advertising; trade marks, passing off, copyright and patents; and privacy and credit laws.
