Risk management is the term applied to a logical and systematic method of identifying, analysing, assessing, treating, monitoring and communicating risks associated with any activity, function or process in a way that enables organisations to minimise losses and maximise opportunities.

At successful completion of this subject students have demonstrated that they understand and are able to implement the Australian/New Zealand Standard 4360 in the context of occupational health and safety and understand the systems associated with the application of risk management in organisations.
