This subject extends the material studied in the prerequisite subject, with statics and dynamics extended to a study of rotation, thermal physics extended to the first two laws of the thermodynamics, and waves extended to a study of geometrical optics and optical devices. At the same time, students are introduced to electric circuits and electromagnetism and commence a historical study of atomic and nuclear physics.
