This subject, conducted through a combination of classroom and laboratory sessions (where necessary), covers the chemical basis for understanding how the chemistry of groundwater evolves both naturally and in the case of contamination. Both practical field measurement and computer modelling are covered.

Additional subject costs: Course notes cost $20. Textbook costs to be advised.

Assessment: Continuous assesment involving assignments, problems and a short informal examiniation.
