6cp; availability: undergraduate non-English speaking background international, exchange or Study Abroad students who are enrolled in all four subjects in C20030This is the second of a sequence of two subjects created for non-English speaking background international, exchange and Study Abroad students in the Advanced Diploma in Australian Language and Culture.
This subject is an extension of the first subject in the sequence. It examines texts from popular culture, including film, television, written publications, musical works and web-based sources, in order to develop both English language proficiency and a critical approach to cultural phenomena.

2009 contribution for post-2008 Commonwealth-supported students: $650.12
