57141 Professional Communication Project

This subject allows students to pursue further studies in their area of professional and or scholarly interest in the field of communication management. Students further develop their critical and analytical skills in communication management appropriate to working in consultancy and advanced management roles, extend and deepen their conceptual understandings of communication management, and develop competencies in research and theory building.

Students undertake a series of professional projects. The body of work to be undertaken includes an internship or critical production and a small independent research project. This work is submitted as a portfolio consisting of two major pieces of professional work, relating the student's professional work to the theories and skills covered in modules undertaken during the course. The portfolio provides a framework for developing the ability to reflect critically on practice through the application of different models of reflection.

2009 contribution for post-2008 Commonwealth-supported students: $1,733.67

Not all students are eligible for Commonwealth Supported places.

2009 amount for undergraduate domestic fee-paying students: $5,800.00
