48410 Introduction to ICT Engineering
6cpThis subject introduces students to the foundations of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Engineering. This includes the nature of the ICT industry and basic concepts and terminology used in ICT. Particular emphasis is given to the way in which the ICT industry has developed and is continuing to evolve, and the way in which this industry can benefit from (and in turn help shape) the practice of engineering.
