This subject focuses on the construction of residential buildings through the following topics: residential construction; terminology and detail design of typical residential buildings; footings, floor, wall and roof framing, cladding, windows and doors, finishes and joinery; interpreting architectural drawings and sketching construction details; model building; and concurrent practical studies and fieldwork.
