Undergraduate

This subject studies how science, technology, environment and society interact and dynamically influence each other in ways that impact upon our past, present and future. To understand many events, experiences, problems and issues in our world we need to draw on a range of disciplines. This subject uses themes and issues to explore key ideas relevant to science, technology, society and environment. These are integrated with practical, creative and cultural contexts as students research theories and perspectives that contribute to our understanding of learning and teaching in authentic contexts. This subject addresses teaching and learning through integration of the Human Society and its Environment and the Science and Technology syllabuses.
