This subject is essentially concerned with supporting students to develop a range of basic programming skills, skills which allow the design of educationally-sound and defensible teaching programmes for Years K-6. While the emphasis of the subject is on skill development, it is underpinned by an informed understanding of appropriate theory. The course also involves the synthesis of information and skills acquired by students in their various KLA-related studies.
