020203 Music, Media and Children
6cpPostgraduate
Subject coordinator: Peter DeVries
Children access music through a variety of different media. Often in music education these different media are ignored in teaching children about music. This subject aims to increase students' understanding of music through various media, such as movies, television, music video clips, and the concert hall. Students examine how such media can be used to teach children about music in a way that is relevant to their lives.
