015033 Programming for Community Learning

This subject introduces students working in community settings to the practice of planning strategies and programs to help people learn. Students study various methods for identifying education needs in community settings and a wide range of possible teaching and learning strategies. Emphasis is placed on helping students make informed decisions about choosing an appropriate combination of needs-analysis techniques and teaching and learning strategies. This subject has a focus on practice and is a stepping stone to a more theoretical core subject.

Not all students are eligible for Commonwealth Supported places.
