013972 Organisational Learning and Systems Thinking
6cpUndergraduate
This subject uses an interactive learning environment created as an 'organisation in the classroom' simulation to develop an understanding of forces at work within systems, groups and organisations. Relevant organisational behaviour, individual development and systems theories are examined in the context of their direct application to action occurring in the classroom and written contributions to online learning activities. The subject supports the transfer of knowledge and specific application of learning to students' workplaces. Theory and practice encountered in other subjects is incorporated through an integrated approach to learning, replicating core elements of a generalised organisational structure.
