013106 Mentoring in the Workplace

This subject focuses on the development of professional learning and mentoring skills. It explores a variety of theories on mentoring and considers personal experiences of mentoring within a theoretical framework. A workplace mentoring project is developed by the student that integrates theoretical and practical aspects of mentoring. Access to a computer and the internet is required for this subject. Students participate in an online mentoring network that provides opportunities for critical debate about mentoring issues.

2009 contribution for post-2008 Commonwealth-supported students: $520.25

2009 amount for undergraduate domestic fee-paying students: $2,000.00
