This subject examines the Board of Studies years 7 to 10 PDHPE syllabuses as they relate to teaching and learning issues, with particular emphasis on learning to teach from the new syllabus and teaching programs.
It combines a practical and theoretical focus to develop skills and understanding of the structure and content of the syllabuses, and provide students with opportunities to explore a wide range of programming, planning, teaching and learning strategies, and computer-based technologies. It also lays the foundation for teacher thinking and theorizing.
