Overview

This course is designed to provide registered nurses with a wide range of options to further their study in the field of nursing. Students gain the knowledge, expertise and competencies required for advanced clinical practice in one of many clinical specialty areas, or may pursue education or management. This course also provides eligible students with the opportunity to complete a nurse practitioner major (international students must undertake the management major or the education major).

Students can customise their program to meet personal learning needs or workplace requirements in order to further their career, with sub-majors available in acute care nursing, anaesthetics and recovery room nursing, children's nursing, clinical management, clinical teaching, critical care nursing, mental health nursing, neonatal nursing, neuroscience nursing and perioperative nursing.

Course aims
