Application of bacterial enumeration and identification techniques to the examination of water and food. Epidemiological tracing methods; biotyping; serotyping; bacteriophage typing; bacteriocin (BLIS) typing; molecular typing. Control measures; hygiene; sanitation; disinfection; sterilisation; vaccines, vaccination procedures and vaccination programs.
