This subject addresses the important area of aquatic sciences and aquatic pollution in studying freshwater, and estuarine/marine ecosystems. It examines the physical, chemical and biological processes and the links between these components in freshwater, estuarine and marine ecosystems. Pollution issues such as eutrophication are addressed. The subject includes a number of day excursions.
