This final year subject in BSc Urban Ecology is designed to enhance scientific and professional skills by developing the student's ability to carry out a team-based, workplace project with industry partners outside UTS. The student team is required to assist in formulating the scope of the research or development project; plan the necessary research work within an appropriate time scale; organise and monitor team progress by establishing effective channels of communication; carry out the work productively and cooperatively as mutually agreed; analyse appropriately and critically the data or information obtained; reach conclusions relating to the data or information obtained on the project; and present the findings of the project in a formal written report.
