This subject introduces students to, and familiarises them with, a basic overview of the theory and practice of three-dimensional computer animation design and a range of its applications in professional screen environments.

Topics covered include conceptual design development and its realisation through modelling, rendering and animating using three-dimensional computer animation applications. Students are expected to design and produce a short three-dimensional computer animated sequence.
