This subject provides the opportunity to further explore design in relation to art, the body and form. The concept of sustainability is also looked at in the light of market forces and consumerism globally.
A lecture series addresses notions of innovation, designing for different levels of the market, and the implications and impact that forecasting and trend analysis have on design.
Students pursue individual interests in terms of design and its application into a fashion and textile context.
