In this subject, students develop a knowledge of business contractual obligations and their application to specific transactions. Other topics may include sale of goods; consumer protection; product liability; trade practices (s. 52 Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cwlth)); legal and business entities; company insolvency; agency; bailment; product safety; partnerships; agency; insurance; credit; negotiable instruments; and bankruptcy.
